Art Will Never Let You Go 2021
I heard the author Kazuo Ishiguro talking about his novel Never Let me go - he said that it was impossible to promise to someone that you would never let them go - I immediately thought that art is something that would never let me go. I had always been fascinated by the story’s theme of finding humanity through the artwork, of the children who have being bred as clones purely for the purposes of providing transplant organs for society.
For this series of monoprints I decide to explore the words Art Will never Let You Go. I then went on to combine them digitally with photographs I had taken in during lockdown.
The photographic images are available as limited-edition prints
