Deep Inside Me Series 2022/23

This series of digital images use medical photographs of the artist’s own colon. Some are combined with monoprints using the text “There is an Infinite Universe Inside Me”. They contain what appears to be scaring and disease depicted in the imagery. They can seem dark and challenging. However, Walker views creating these works as helping her to accept her own gut instead of having an antagonistic relationship with it.
