Disruptive Guts 2025

Disruptive Guts I-V is a series of raw paintings made on Walker’s studio wall. They are meant to be messy, discursive paintings. The shapes and colours twisting and turning in and out of each other with rough textured surfaces. They represent the disruption of guts caused by the health issues of IBD and IBS. The disruptions are representing not only those in the gut inside the body, but also disruptions caused to everyday life by these conditions.
