Gut Confusion 2026

This immersive painting Gut Confusion - Reflects Walker's own lived experience of gut health issues and how they can complicate her life. Through previous works she has developed a fascination with the infinity of folds. She began to think of the very long tubes of the human intestines as consisting of an infinite number of folds. Within the folds imagining a population of trillions of different varieties of microbiome. She desires her audience to be able to immerse themselves in the forms, colours and textures close up. In order for them to get in touch with their own gut feelings.
